Pets

The Heartwood is pet friendly and has a limited number of pet friendly rooms. Advanced notice of pets is essential. Cats and small dogs are $25 per day. Guests with pets are 100% responsible for any extra cleaning, any damages caused by their pet, and any disturbance to other guests. Dogs may not be left unattended while in the room – the hotel will charge a minimum $15 per hour pet sitting charges if a dog is left alone – leaving a pet alone in a room can result in the cancellation of the room. $200 deposit for cleaning and damages maybe be charged. Larger or multiple dogs may be charged a higher daily rate and a higher deposit. Please inquire prior to booking. All pets must be in carriers while in rooms. Rooms with unregistered pets will be charged a minimum $250 for extra cleaning. Vaccinations and vet records should accompany animals and they MUST be flea free.

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed in any building on the property. Outdoor ashtrays are located near exits. Our staff are instructed to report smoking violations immediately. A $250 cleaning surcharge will be added if smoking is suspected in rooms.

Courtesy Items

We are in the business of romance. For wine or champagne glasses, corkscrews, ice or wine buckets, please call the front desk. CD and DVD players are available, we ask for a $5 cash donation for the rental of DVD movies which we donate to charity.

Cancellation

We have a 72 hour cancellation policy for individual bookings. Reservations cancelled less than 72 hours in advance will be charged to the credit card on file, including spa services. Theatre tickets are non-refundable.

Group Bookings

Reservations of three or more rooms are considered a ‘group’ and require a non-refundable deposit.
